Brad Humphrey, Co-Founder & President of PDGpccid_team_brad

Brad Humphrey has been in the construction industry for more than 35 years. Starting as an apprentice plumber through his early years of college to being a partner in several construction companies, Brad has served at the front line through the senior leader levels, including ownership.

Brad’s Pinnacle Development Group team of professional consultants and coaches continue to provide growth and operational strategies to contractors of all size and specialty.  From strategic planning to team-building; from field leadership to business development; and, from human resources to client retention, PDG brings a freshness of ideas, techniques, and solutions to construction companies around the globe.

Having earned the nickname, The Contractor’s Best Friend, Brad authors a weekly column by that same name on-line.  Brad has authored some ten books and has had more than 150 articles published in construction and leadership magazines across the world.



Jeff Pigott, Leadership Specialist, PDG

Jeff Pigott has over 25 years of experience in the construction industry. With early experience as a safety manager and project coordinator to serving on the executive team of industry leading self-perform infrastructure businesses, Jeff has seen and dealt with all the challenges the construction industry has to offer.

Jeff has managed businesses that self perform excavation, concrete, formwork, mechanical and electrical work, leading organizations with annual sales volumes exceeding $400M and staffing over 300 team members. Jeff also has extensive experience running multiple profit and loss centers in both public and private corporations with up to six vice presidents reporting to him at one time. He is a rare breed of executive that has learned from his years in the field working “on the tools”, and can communicate with all levels of construction organizations.
With a proven track record as a “turn-around guy”, Jeff focuses on people, performance, and strategic direction. He is an expert on team building and the development and implementation of risk management processes, project controls and other systems crucial to managing construction projects. A highly ethical, candid, results driven leader, Jeff has the experience in developing and fostering a culture to help shape your organization’s employee growth and strategic development efforts.



Colby Humphrey, Research Director, PDG headshot

Colby Humphrey serves as the Research Director for Pinnacle Development Group. Colby spent several years as a Market Analyst for the Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service (TEEX), where he assisted with economic development research for communities throughout the state of Texas.

With degrees from Baylor University & Texas A&M, and a certified Professional Researcher (PRC) through the Market Research Association, Colby has helped to connect entrepreneurs and new technologies, provided valuable construction intelligence about future building trends and needs, as well as serving as a policy analyst for the state of Tennessee.

Colby provides research and development expertise as well as assisting construction companies identify targeted needs that strengthen their business development and marketing efforts.
